Charlotte Ashdown
Charlotte began her recruitment journey in 2004 at a boutique IT consultancy, where she quickly discovered her passion for the industry. Despite entering with no prior recruitment experience and not being an IT expert, she adapted swiftly but later transitioned to another firm focusing on office support hires. It was here that she found her true niche.
After dedicating eight successful years to her previous employer, Charlotte embraced a new chapter in her life with the birth of her first child. Recognising the desire to pursue her entrepreneurial ambitions, she leapt to establish her venture. Armed with a mobile phone, a kitchen table, and a six-month-old baby, OML Partners was born.
Charlotte’s extensive experience in the professional services sector informed her decision to specialise in this arena. She quickly positioned OML Partners as a leading recruitment resource within the Executive Search industry, focusing on back-office support hires. Due to her expertise in sourcing Executive Assistants, Project Coordinators, and Operations staff, OML Partners became a one-stop shop for organisations seeking top talent.
Through resilience and determination, Charlotte has guided OML Partners through various industry challenges, including the complexities of the COVID-19 pandemic. Emerging from this period of uncertainty, she successfully expanded her business from a solo venture into a thriving team of four by 2025, demonstrating her capability to adapt and grow within the competitive recruitment market.
As a full-time working mother, Charlotte truly embodies the balance of professional commitment and family life. She is known for her dedication to clients and is never truly ‘on holiday’. Whether in the office or out of office hours, Charlotte is always just a phone call away, ensuring that her clients receive the support and attention they need, once again showing her passion, expertise, and commitment to OML Partners.
Danielle Dietsch
Danielle is a recruitment professional with over 20 years’ experience in the recruitment industry, she successfully placed a number of contract /permanent candidates for a variety of clients. Sectors she has worked on include, Telecommunications, IT, Retail, Management Consulting and Executive Search.
Since joining OML Partners in April 2022 as a Researcher, Danielle’s focus is to source Executive Assistants, Business Support Staff and Researchers for OML Partners clients within the Executive Search and Professional Services sector.
Danielle has a passion for recruitment and takes pride in finding candidates exciting new career opportunities.
Kerry Allen
Kerry joined OML Partners in 2021, as a researcher. She has nine years’ experience working in the recruitment industry, first within the shipping sector, then retail, fashion, lifestyle, luxury and online retail and now professional services. Kerry helps EAs, support staff and researchers find top roles at Global Executive Search, Financial Services and Management Consulting firms.
Kerry loves the variety of her work as a researcher and the chance to make a difference to organisations, which have a huge positive impact on people’s lives.
Laura Smith
With a strong foundation in financial services, Laura brings over 18 years of experience from The Bank of New York to her role as a Recruitment Consultant. She initially joined OML Partners on a part-time basis whilst raising her family, gaining valuable experience and insight into the industry as a recruitment researcher. Recently promoted to consultant, Laura utilises her extensive industry knowledge whilst maintaining a warm, approachable manner, she is recognised for her professionalism, insight, and ability to form trusted relationships with both clients and candidates enabling her to place high-quality support professionals.
